Having just watched this interesting but short video on the beautiful Isle of Coll
I felt the need to leave a comment as it brought back fond memories of my stay
there some 50 years ago. Of course much has changed since those days, but I
can still remember travelling there by a small ferry that took me to the then tiny
hamlet of Arinagour. The small jetty that I arrived at was very close to the Coll
Hotel which was my accommodation for a number of nights. It was a pleasant
stay there I can remember, the proprietor then was one Mr Allister Ollifant. Does
anybody know that might be reading this whether he is still living on the Island,
as I'm curious to know. I'd like very much to go back there someday when things
kind of get back to normality. It's such a shame that the Island is suffering a bit.
