Hey, there!

In this video, we'll be going over how to perform a standard Bent Over Barbell Row and Single-Arm Dumbbell Row as well as some common mistakes to avoid when doing doing these two exercises.

I myself have made ALL of these mistakes and am still working to improve my form even after three years of lifting. Please don't sweat it if you find yourself making any of these mistakes! The only way to get better is to recognize where we can make improvements and practice! You got this!

Ok this video is a life saver! I clicked looking for tips on the barbell row and ended up really excited to try out the dumbbell row -- I've NEVER been able to do it without feeling ridiculous because I didn't really understand what I was supposed to be targeting. Thank you!

For single row dumbbells your back needs to be at 45 degrees angle, knees off the bench. Shoulders should always be above hips slightly.
