This southern cube steak recipe is very tender and easy to make. You will love the brown mushroom and onion gravy seasoned to perfection. I paired this with creamy mashed potatoes.

Note: adjust cooking time based on preference. You can bake them longer than in the video, but you will to add more water to ensure it doesn't dry out.

My Mom made this dish all the time! I didn’t even know what a grilled steak was, like a T bone, or sirloin or rib eye till I was invited to dinner at my Jewish schoolmate’s fancy home. They had a Black maid who knew the rare steak placed in front of me was not going to be a hit. She took it back to the kitchen to cook it to medium and brought me some ketchup. 😆
