She has improved and this time i see more personality and she understands the program, so is able to convey more emotions and feelings. For me this was the best performance. I do not have doubts that she will continue improving, when it comes to her triple Axel, she can restore it with proper technique, the one she has is not working for her.

I wasn’t sure about this New York program for her at first. But her interpretation of it is definitely improving. Her jumps looked big and strong. And amazingly, despite all predictions, if she had landed just one clean 3A of the quality she has shown in the past, she would surely have won this event, even with the slight bias from the judges to the world champion in the GOE and PCS. But I do wish these ISU judges would approach each event as a clean slate and reward skaters according to their actual performance on the day of the competition rather than marking on reputation and past performances.
