UVA shooting suspect arrested after 3 killed, 2 injured in campus shooting

A University of Virginia student suspected of killing three of his fellow classmates and wounding two others in an on-campus shooting Sunday night was taken into police custody, after the campus was told to shelter in place for more than 12 hours in a harrowing overnight event.

The alleged gunman, identified by authorities as Christopher Darnell Jones Jr., was in custody, was arrested in Richmond, Virginia Monday morning and is facing multiple charges, including murder. The 22-year-old is a current UVA student who was listed as a member of the football team in 2018.

This is so disturbing. Unacceptable, sad, I run out of adjectives. Four young men’s lives are ruined, three by death and one by killing them; four families will never be the same and there is absolutely no reasonable explanation for this to happen to anyone. God bless these families and friends of the victims end of the shooter because they’re all stuck in the same dark mess.

So when the shooter's father was asked what happened he told the news reporter that the three students o were r picking on his son they had tried to get someone to do something about it but nobody did and he told the son just to ignore them and go to school the father showed absolutely no remorse for what his son did he didn't even say that he was sorry to the other families and they're calling this three counts of second-degree murder are they kidding

The shooters Dad said in a recent interview the last time he seen his son he
felt something was wrong and asked him what's wrong. The boy did not say what it was and just said he was being picked on and messed with.
The Dad told him keep his head in the books and just finish school. One of the witnesses on the bus said before the boy shot he said you guys
have been picking on me all the time....Not everyone takes bullying well. I hate all of it but I hope they also did not bully him to this point.
This gave me a GUT PUNCH in my stomach and I never met anyone of them. Seeing those 3 beautiful boys face has me teary eyed.
