I absolutely love that you put in a PSID player. Great job on the reverse engineering, and even adding RF noise (that so much of us want to remove) but its a nice touch! One of the best sounding SID implementations I've heard yet.

I still use Chipsynth SFC and MD a lot, I can't wait to get C64! There's so much possibilities with this. I also love the video, whoever thought of and made the demoscene like background visuals did an amazing job

Haha! This drops just hours after I return to the Plogue site to update all of my other plugins.
Back in the day, I used to drive a C64 with Triad Midislave. Chiptunes was close, but this nails it!

I just pulled my c64 out of storage after almost 40 years. I was surprised that it booted up. The 1541 disk drive worked and most of the games on floppy still worked. I did not expect that.

I have a hardware synthesizer that has two actual SID chips in it. They sound so different from each other...when emulating analog circuits, add as much randomness and dirt as musically feasible.

Yes. Move away from sample based sounds. Real synths are smaller, more correct, more flexible and often more responsive.
