The Moral Panic of Bathrooms - A Progressive Analysis

In celebration of Pride Month, we dive into a niche yet widespread issue: bathroom bills. Despite there being no real evidence to suggest that inclusive bathroom policies make public restrooms more dangerous, almost a dozen states have introduced legislation to restrict or prevent transgender people from using the restroom that best aligns with their gender identity. In this video, we investigate the three main arguments against inclusive bathrooms, providing evidence and reasoning for why bathroom bills are not only unnecessary, but actively harmful.

I'm of the opinion that we just get rid of multi-person bathrooms. Why do I need to sh*t in the same room with a bunch of strangers, regardless of their gender? Bathrooms wouldn't even need to be gendered anymore. Trans people would be able to use whatever bathroom they want, and introverts like me could have a little more privacy. It wouldn't stop transphobia, but conservatives would (hopefully) stop crying about bathrooms. I don't know why society hasn't progressed past this point yet.
