Why did Sasuke wanted to kill sakura?she's completely harmless to him ... (As he knows she can't really kill anyone)
He wanted to kill naruto because he's his best friend/past incarnation brother as he wanted to severe his bonds, the people he cared for. But why sakura? Because there's something between them, close to a relationship. The way they make eye contact through out the series, very intimate.
What kind of bond does he share with sakura? He's had a rival/brother bond with naruto, a teacher/student bond with kakashi, but what's with sakura? We'll never know as writer never explored their dynamic more for shippers, but it might be safe to say that he does share something with her, be it attraction, gratefulness, respect or likeness or partnership. He tried to kill her along with naruto because he's deeply connected to her like he is with naruto. He might have used to think about her occasionally, must feel something for why would he go to lengths to severe his bond with her if it's not deep enough to affect him. Because it DOES effect him that's why he's out to end it.
