I thought I wouldn't care about the cards much since they have the updated layout, but they do look really nice. I noticed particularly in the swordsman the card texture seems to add to the art and of course the tri horned really pops like you said.

It seems that secrets are guaranteed in these boxes which I'm mostly ok with. Sure it's going to make them less valuable and desirable but at least everyone that buys a box will be able to enjoy the new, beautiful secret foiling.

Guy had all the most expensive 1st edition lobs with multiple copies and some were psa 10.. so these reprints don't faze him 😂🔥

Thanks for this video its really cool to see the old cards rereleased dark magician and flame swordsman. I would love to pull a red eyes black dragon. Didnt realize how quickly these would sell, im trying to remember if i saw them at my local card store but i would imagine theyre sold out by now.

Years ago I opened a whole case of Spanish lob and pulled multiples of every card in the set except blue eyes white dragon of which I pulled 0 copies of. Wild to think I didn’t pull even one in an entire case!

Love old school Yugioh especially LOB. I was lucky enough to open a Korean box a few years ago and got Gaia the Fierce Knight and Exodia's left leg as the ultras

I opened a box and pulled a gaia the dragon champion, gaia the fierce knight, celtic guardian and poly. That's it - tragic. Ended up treating my depression with two more boxes haha. Love the video and I agree, 25th anniversary editions would've been epic

I like the cards with the new card format, really makes them look crisp. And for those of us who collect these cards, makes them note accessible. Only issue I have is some of the new censoring. In LOBs case it's the removal of the halo on Petit Angel and the quill on Book of Secret arts. Who knows what the reason was for the latter.

I don't really like Secret Rares today. I think they actually shine too much, and it looks super cheap when the Level Stars shine too. It makes the card as a whole look too busy. I agree with your other comment on the Metal Raiders video how cards like Jinzo had a really beautiful Secret foiling. That era of Secret Rares was my favorite.

70$? Damn, I'm looking for some boxes but the German versions I find are like 150€ which feels excessively overprized.
Edit: Nevermind, found one seller who actually sells them at 70€. Nice! Nostalgia go!
Also, a quarter century of something like Sand Stone would be hilarious.

I didnt get a secret rare in my LOB box. Pulled a Dark Magician though! Also a Raigeki (which makes up for mine that was stolen in middle school the week i pulled it from my Joey BSD tin). The Nostalgia hits hard!
