It's easy for Hungary to make statements the war should end because civilians are being killed, so Ukraine must end the war with Russia who invaded Ukraine unprovoked twice 2014 2022 and Ukraine should let Russia keep territory they claim is theirs now and Ukraine must recognize it as Russian territory, while being in the EU and have nato come to your aid if invaded or attacked.

If the roles were switched. Hungary is not a EU member & nato member and Russia has invaded Hungary, seeing civilians die during airstrikes, mass graves of executed pows and Hungarian civilians Russia holding sham referendums, I believe Orban would be doing the same thing Zelenskyy has been doing since day 1 of Putin's disastrous invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
Or
Orban would bend the knee to Putin and once again Hungary is under russias boot.
