I sincerely believe growing plants should be a mandatory subject. Knowing how to grow a plant means you can grow your own food if needed.

The raising of hands is simply to maintain some kind of order in the class room, so you dont have 10 different students interrupting the clas every 10 minutes. Its for the teacher, not the student.
