Of course it’s not something that they are seriously considering. The federal reserve is a paper company.

These people have no clue. People are not in bitcoin just because its digital. Whats the difference between paper and digital dollar. Nothing. People are in bitcoin for the freedom it offers and no central authority.

Asian banks are already into cryptocurrency. Japan uses bitcoin as an officialy legal tender currency since April 2017. Wake up, it's here and not going away as it is superior to use over paper or metal currencies that people use today. Here is a protip, IBM has many servers in over 5 countries mining the cryptocurrency called Stellar Coins (alternative to bitcoin), and is literally already being used by banks in Pacific Asia areas. Also ripple coin is gaining because many big names in tech and banking are adopting it's use. Litecoin is another alt coin with faster transactions and less encryption speeds than Bitcoin, which will be useful for small transactions requiring less time and encryption for the end users. Do your research, I did years ago

Our currency for the most part is digital. Everyone uses credit cards and it's better this way... But no one keeps to much cash on hand... Some of the cash in the world doesn't even exist... It's just debt that's been stretched out.
