Before charging the battery, the potential difference across the battery terminal was 12.6 V. After 15 minutes of charging - 12.8 V. After 20 minutes - 13.1 V. After 3 hours - 13.3 V. After 5 hours - 13.7 V. Then there was a long service process. The voltage at the battery terminal was 13.6 V the next day.

En français, on dirait que l'Optimate 5, le plus subtil et qui mesure tout est" avec un courant de souvent plus de cinq 5 Amperes"(versions 5 et 6)" est auto-adaptatif: il charge avec un courant constant, proportionnel à la capacité totale de la batterie. cette capacité maximum est chiffrée en Ah et écrite dessus (Ampere*heure). L'Optimate 5 ou 6 mesure la capacité max de la batterie et adapte ensuite son courant, pour ne jamais surcharger aucune batterie. A self-adaptative battery charger indeed.A la fin de la charge, il maintient aussi un régime spécial de tension d'entretien pour lutter contre la sulfatation, en hiver ou quand on ne roule plus souvent. Un produit exceptionnel !
