I have to note: reinforced glass equals stone walls, and stone walls still take some damage during the hardest phase of storm.
At least, I had my stone walls being damaged in arctic on medium difficulty and in forest on hard difficulty.
Concrete, as far as I know, are absolute invincible to weather. May be that's why they don't have "wind modifier"

Stone angled roofs can also collapse in arctic under snow weight if the structure below it is 2+ floors. To combat this, the building needs to be braced by wood+ pillars. This happened to me on a 2x1 2 floor stone tower in the arctic environment WITH stone foundations supporting the structure. One real nasty blizzard deposited too much weight and a roof tile collapsed, the other was rumbling before I could get it braced.

build on a mountain side, base will never take damage

Hardcore weather would damage stone structures, but not much, only 50 hp per hit. Keep an eye on the damage, though, your house may be falling down because of a weak point.

Yea you forgot to mention DONT waste your points on thatch! It’s useless. Just skip right to wood. Great job on video. I like how you did the 3rd person walking them down.

use concrete for inner room walls to keep warm :) stone to protect from weather outside

Very helpful - though if you have one, I'd link a video to a building guide on foundations - if you don't have one, I'd recommend a video on foundations :D

Would like to now where this base is located on the map?

overhanging your stone roof makes it so you can build your walls in wood and they will take no damage in the forest biome.

I was surprised you didn't mention about using half-width stone or concrete pieces as 'overhangs' to avoid storm damage on glass. Not sure if this is considered an exploit of course.
