The refs tried their hardest to rob Minnesota of a win. Fortunately, there are unbiased replay booths to check these refs. USC isn't ready for the Big Ten. They're still playing that soft, finesse style of West Coast football. It doesn't work, which is why Wisconsin on a down year almost beat them.

I wish The Coliseum rocked like these BIG10 schools do. I truly think usc isn’t ready for the atmosphere and aura of BIG10 stadiums. USC can compete with anyone on a skill level but when they start slow and give up big plays, they suffer. When they get comfortable in these BIG10 settings, they’ll be in the mix. But they ain’t ready for these cities that shut down and the whole place is there to watch football. USC as well needs to take notes.. if the coliseum rocked like these schools in the north, it’d be a scary sight. USC is significantly better at home, but it’s also a city where it’s not at full capacity til the 2nd quarter. Minnesota was 2-3 and had a sell out crowd. There would be a emptiness to the coliseum if usc was ever 2-3!

Thank the football scheduling folks for not making USC go to Penn State this season… a white out night game could ruin the morale of this team and have them spiral downhill. A home game should be a great bounce back and usc can play spoiler to someone else’s season as they’ve had their fair share already this season.
