Guelph Physics Livestream: Battery Science

The Guelph Physics live stream debuts its summer series Tuesday June 8th at 7:00 pm EDT with a discussion about the science (and in particular the physics) behind batteries!
Our panel is comprised of two Guelph Physics alumni working in the field of battery research.

Dr. Stephen Glazier (class of 2013) completed his PhD under the supervision of lithium-ion battery guru Dr. Jeff Dahn. He works at Novonix, a company whose focus is making better battery technology faster, cleaner, and cheaper. By developing high performance, low cost battery materials, and providing consulting and technology development programs for external clients, Stephen’s role at Novonix is to enable faster adoption of affordable, high performance battery technology across the battery market.

As always, we will have a live Q&A where we will endeavour to answer your questions in real time!
