NEW Electric Boat Outboard. Are Gas Outboards DEAD?

This 3hp Remigo will compete with ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 plus and Newport NT300 for sales space. Also there is news of Haswing Pulsar which is a 3hp outboard. What Remigo does differently is it has a surprise feature of adjustable shaft length. That is a huge feature that makes it very versatile.

These svelte electric outboards are really looking good. I may be trading my gasser in for one. Ease of use and weight can’t be beat.

How did you make out with the storm?

I really wanted one. But its $3, 000 + the xtras, spares, a bag, etc and you are almost at $4, 000. I can buy almost 4 Mercury 3.5 for that.

What if you don’t tighten the bolts and a wave hits and knocks it loose and it just falls right through? They should have welded a little bead at the top as a stop… did they mention anything about a fail safe for this issue?
