September 28 is Confucius’ birthday and we celebrate it as Teacher’s Day in Taiwan. I myself, have became a Mandarin teacher for over 20 years now thinking about retiring. Thank you for these stories and the message of “You are never too old to teach.” . That shall keep me going for a little while longer.

But, teaching is not a job with good pay. We are currently short of teachers. Not surprise ?
