I met Kieran about 15 years ago after a set at Doug Fir Lounge in Portland OR. After traveling many miles to be there, I danced my heart up until the lights. While people were leaving I walked up to him and mumbled, as an awestruck fan does. He shook my hand and smiled. He was so inclusive and loving. It’s one of my favorite memories. Love and gratitude💚

First cd I bought was Four Tet Pause, I didn’t even have a cd player of my own yet, I had to sit in my parents van to listen to it. It had the most formative and profound impact on me, my musical tastes, my openness to weirdness and experimentation. He’s an incredibly talented man, and is now shepherding on the younger generation of experimentationalists in the best way imaginable. Kudos to you both, it’s wonderful to see such love and respect.

I have traveled to London a lot since 2010 and one of my favorite things about that is learning about four tet and how deeply he is respected he has been in the uk for a long long time. It’s great to see him become more well known.
