The fact that the officer said 'he doesn't look anything like him' and they still went to him anyway speaks volumes.

Caller: "He's white"
Police: "You mean black?"
Caller: "he's wearing a red hoodie"
Police: "got it, orange jacket with a scarf. We appreciate your detailed description."

"Sometimes we have suspects that discard what they are wearing."

"How the fuck did he discard his skin color???"

A white guy in his thirties. A black guy in his sixties. That’s not a “mistake”. That was completely deliberate

This was no mistake. The chief needs to be reprimanded as well. I hope he wins his lawsuit. This is fucking ridiculous

I understood the man's anger and rightfully so. Don't apologize for standing up for yourself in any manner.

The fact that they keep using the word "mistake" is making my skin crawl. That was no mistake. That officer DELIBERATELY went for the wrong person intentionally.

As a 40 year old black man(w/no criminal history) I can attest that there’s only so much “complying” you can do before you snap.

The fact that Csendes CLEARLY says “he looks nothing like him” and was ignored by his superior SAYS IT ALL

The fact that the police chief watched that footage and lied through his teeth without an ounce of integrity (even when the truth is right in front of him and everyone else) says all that needs to be said about how that police department is run. He should be fired based on this interview alone.

They LITERALLY GAVE A FULL DESCRIPTION 😅. Congratulations, y'all were caught in 4K.

I absolutely HATE when they tell the victims of racial profiling to “calm down” NO I WILL NOT! We are SICK of this!

The fact that the police chief tried to give excuses instead of apologizing is sickening

“There is a shopping lifting white man”
Officers: “nooo, nooo.. that can’t be right.”

Dang even when you don't fit the description, you fit the description

The dispatcher was saying on the radio that the suspect was in a DIFFERENT PART OF THE STORE, and the cops ignored that.
For those who say Mr. Lindsay overreacted, it’s because it hasn’t or never will happen to them.

Sorry but I started dying when he said "this is orange af" like bruh he ain't wrong. 😭

He seemed so calm at the beginning. You can tell they were just being stupid as hell so he finally snapped.

That wasn’t a mistake. They had a full description and messages relayed to them whilst they were questioning the wrong guy and they lied to him about the description they were given. Their actions were deliberate!

This proves that the cops are trained to do exactly what they do...

This man is so disgusted because as he says, “I walked in the store behind you”…He literally walked in behind the (keystone) cops that were looking for a white suspect (you can’t make this stuff up).
