According to the fire red and leaf green prima guidebook, eevee evolves into espeon at night and into umbreon during the day, and with max friendship golbat will evolve into... golbat

Best part was how it missed arguably the two most important side quests: New Mauville and the old ship, which have key TMs and a water stone. Amusingly the guide didn’t even take you through the second area at all.

Yo, the "Buy 10 items" thing actually scammed me as a kid. I did buy 10 potions and thought it was glitched and kept buying 10 of everything to try and get the free prize. Ahh, good times

I'm amused at how the guide assumes that the player is playing Ruby and chose Mudkip.

Because here in Italy we had an unofficial guide that, alongside other issues, assumed that the player is playing Sapphire and chose Torchic.

As someone who has this guide, its actually pretty good. The fact it shows every trainers pokemon blew my mind.
