With the release of the new DJI Osmo Pocket 3, there’s definitely lots of questions that have come up in the comments. In this video, I try and answer some of the most common ones.

6:58 That depends on what kind of family vacation you're going on. If it's heavily activity based where you're physically running around and potentially getting wet. Action 4 is best. But the low light of the Osmo is unrivaled and for the reason - it's a better choice.

Just got my Pocket 3 today. The 1" sensor is fantastic! Makes the Pocket 2 look like a toy... I currently use three Pocket 2 cameras to film the local orchestras in a dark all-wood theatre. Will be testing the Pocket 3 next month, and from the looks of it, I will have to upgrade all of my cameras. Thanks, DJI. 😜

Thats awesome i still have my DJI Mic 1. My only other question is will it work plugging it into the grip extension instead of the bottom of the gimbal?

Hey! Question - in the creator kit, can you record dual audio - one channel from the DJI Mic 2 system, and the other channel the internal microphone of the Pocket 3? Thanks!

Nice Video. One question - Can you record from the internal mic and the wireless mic at the same time for situations like behind the camera interviews?

Kinda disagree for family vacation using Action 4 if only one camera. I will definitely pick Pocket 3. I just came back from NYC vacation and most of my footage from Action 4 at night are unusable. Lots of ghosting on low light. Only good one are in Time Square where tons of light sources. Also the infinite focus with action 4 is less dramatic and too wide for most scene . I end up using my wife footage from her iPhone 14. I do alot of mountain biking though where my Action 4 is the best for that usage.

Hi! Great videos - THANK YOU! Maybe you can also test this: How are the webcam features? Can the gimbal and other settings be adjusted with a desktop app? Would this be a potential Insta360 Link killer?

When you're using the deity duo mic and have it mounted to the cold shoe mount on the side, what handle/attachment are you using on the pocket 3? Also, with the 3.5 to usb-c adapter, is the pocket 3 able to keep the 2 audio tracks separate (in stereo)?

Wasn’t there an option on the DJI pocket 2 that allowed you to livestream directly to YouTube, Facebook, etc.?? Is that still an option on the Osmo Pocket 3???

I enjoyed the Q&A. Now, I would like to delve into the details of the WebCam features. My portable 4K WebCam and microphone are much larger than the entire Pocket-3 kit. It would be a significant advantage if I could use the Pocket-3 as my go-to webcam kit when traveling.

This is a great summary of all the questions we've been seeking answers for! AFAIK the Pocket 3 is 32bit float, which may explain some audio compatibility issues with the original DJi Mic. This 32bit float feature of the Mic 2 is being washed over by almost every review of the Pocket 3. Why? Did DJi request that the audio not be delved into too deeply?

How about comparing Pocket 3 with ZV1 ? Both use same sensor size, but i guess different sensor since sony have their own...

One design mistake is that the wireless mic kit uses lavalier mics with TRRS, the new Wireless mic 2 uses TRS so my lav will not work in the new Mic 2 unless you add an adaptor. No idea why they made that change.

At 02:40 you said you tried a few mics. But what happened when you tried? Did they work or no? I would want to use the rhode wireless go with it but still unclear if it will work
