1991 WOMEN'S WORLD CUP FINAL: Norway 1-2 USA

Women's football celebrated its true coming of age in November of 1991 when the FIFA Women's World Cup was brought to life.

The first competition kicked off in China PR to large and enthusiastic crowds. With 12 nations competing, it proved to be a resounding success.

Till this day this always been my favorite USA uniforms of all time. I wish the USMNT would have worn those for the 1994 US World Cup. I'm glad at least the ladies won America's first World Cup wearing those uniforms. It's crazy I always thought the second title they won was there actual first lol. Mia Hamm and Michelle Ackers we're really great in the 90s.

placing a big country like usa against a small one like norway is absurd (considering they are both wealthy nations). this will not show who is better. a region in the usa the same size as norway should represent the usa, then we see a result that is closer to the truth.
