I doubt its tungsten, it might be a spring steel rod coated with tungsten carbide pieces.

Yeah you would have a hard time cutting diamond but that's why amazing products stock both tungsten and diamond products :-)

I don't want to disappoint you, but tungsten nor tungsten carbide can cut diamond :(
