In October 1957 Suffolk, three British royal navy cadets William Laing, Michael Crowley and Ray Baker, were in the middle of a training exercise of map reading in the English countryside. Their objective was to follow a simple route through the area, observe several target locations, map a route to a waypoint, make notes of what they observed and report back to their superiors upon completion. It was a nice, sunny day, so the men were on task, but enjoying the pleasant scenery as they went but things were about to take a hard right turn towards the bizarre...

The reason for the so-called expensive green windows could be because not only did they go back in time but, maybe, they also entered into another dimension where green glass was fairly common 🤔.

There's one aspect of the Kersey 'time slip' story that I've yet to see anyone address; that of the stationary ducks. Why didn't they move? Well, I have a theory. The three cadets' accounts emphasised the stillness and quietness of Kersey. No wind, no sound of birds or human activity and, of course, the stationary ducks. It's therefore possible that what they experienced was a 'stone tape' type of recording. The Kersey they entered was not a 'real' place, so to speak, but a solid, three-dimensional impression of Kersey at the time of the Black Death, psychically imprinted onto the ether by the heightened emotions of the Kersey residents at the time. Once the cadets passed out of the immediate vicinity, they passed beyond the range of the psychic imprint and so re-entered normal spacetime.

The island has spawned many tales of time slips for such a small land mass. Definitely something special about the British isles. Just as there's something special about unsaturated content in this genre. Thanks for another great video!

Good thing they left before the Langoliers showed up and ate the old time period.
Time slips would explain a lot of weirdness. Like sightings of pterodactyls and giant birds that are too uncommon to even rationalize as surviving animals. And the Flying Dutchman sightings.
