I bought a couple of Otmar's CDs back in the early 90s. Someone in Miami where I am from told me about him. I just like flamenco music and he plays it so good.

Technically brilliant but melodic and with soul, he does not hit you over the head with it.

He has allowed western ears outside of andalusia for more than 2 decades to enjoy the flamenco guitar outside of the regional contest that involves cante, bailaor y guitarra. His conception was he is great at writing, he is not a virtuoso at all, i mean as a guitar player, this performance was...mehh. And that is also perfectly fine.

I enjoy his music but that was a terrible song. It was all jumbled together, missed notes and poor transitions
