Govt notifies revised criteria for classification of classification of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) with effect from 01.07.2020.
(i) a micro enterprise, where the investment in Plant and Machinery or Equipment does not exceed Rs. 1cr. and turnover does not exceed Rs. 5cr.
(ii) a small enterprise, where the investment in Plant and Machinery or Equipment does not exceed Rs. 10cr. and turnover does not exceed Rs. 50cr.
(iii) a medium enterprise, where the investment in Plant and Machinery or Equipment does not exceed Rs. 50cr. and turnover does not exceed Rs. 250 cr.
