Santa Teresa Wilderness Area Access

The Santa Teresa Wilderness Area is the backdrop for great hiking, backpacking and hunting, but getting into the wilderness area wasn't always so easy. Here's the story of how access opened up when state and national organizations worked together.

Great work, glad to see this. In my area, Navarro ranch has been particularly difficult to deal with regarding access to state trust land here in the Northern serrita mountains. Though it's a two way street, respect for the cattle leases and their equipment in these areas are paramount. Current relations are poor and access is limited.
