FYI, just run all the way home and ignore ur prisoner. They will eventually tp to your base after u closed the door

regarding taking back a follower, via horse back. If you go as fast as you can, the NPC will teleport to your location, and it makes it impossible for them to be killed. I am not sure if it teleports to you every so often, or if it is in the limbo until you stop.

I think it is the latter, so as long as you are going at full speed, away from the NPC, they will stay in teleport limbo. This is how we used to do it in early access, and it still works now.

I completely disagree with you, mutant blood is great for those who spend a lot of time in the castle building, designing and decorating.
Speed boost in wolf form (and we are always in wolf form) + significantly reduced blood drain, allowing you to be less likely to be distracted.
Very comfortably!
I have a friend who loves this game, but is completely unable to control horse. She moves around the game world exclusively in the form of a wolf, and mutant blood resists also become an excellent help here, as they allow her to feel more comfortable during the daytime.

Another great place for worker blood and even other blood types is the farbane bandit Stronghold'

you can quite literally farm the entire range of blood types in the stronghold in a nice easy circle with only scholar blood being excluded

God I wish we could customize the thralls appearances too, not just armor that is, and while we are at it I would have also liked a simple chores menu such as forging plants or storing items in specific chests
