And now, he's acted upon that affinity by purchasing a farmhouse in his native Scotland that was built circa 1775! Located just a 20-minute drive from Glasgow, the remodeled Cawdermill House was originally used as an inn with stables, according to the real estate agent Savills. Its list price was a minimum of £895,000, and it's rumored that Heughan (who plays hot Scot Jamie Fraser on the hit Starz series) paid a cool £1,000,000 to get the deal done.

“I will always have a place there,” he said. “Something I keep asking myself is where will I go when Outlander is all done? I don’t know. I don’t know what will happen. What is life after Jamie Fraser?” The modernized property boasts an open floor plan; the living room, up-to-date gourmet kitchen with center island, and dining room all flow into one another.
