"Blag" is a British term meaning "to obtain something by using deception or persuasion, " or as the guy said, "to con" or "to cheat." So, his question was, "what is your best blag (best way to obtain something by deception)?" What an awful question imo.

I mean, her answer made sense!! He was using obscure British slang that an American would not understand. The first few times she didn’t understand, a good interviewer would re-word it in a way that would be easier to understand or easier to hear (or both!)
