Why are the parents so negative? They didn’t seem happy or excited that their grand daughter is going to be “average sized”

Why would you want a little person baby? Yes when you find out you’re going to love it just the same, but all the harm your child is going to suffer? Wouldn’t you want to hope the baby is average size and healthy? Little people go through a lot, bullying, adapting to an average size would and many surgeries, plus more. I can’t imagine wanting this for my child.
