The real person behind this scene was a woman by the name of Edith from Seattle. . Her story and strength is such inspiration! She stood up to the development company that offered her a million dollars to buy her house so they could make new development in the area but Miss Edith refused. She stayed in her home surrounded around the new construction where she later died. The moral of her story is ' Money isn't everything, you stand up for what matters to you the most' - in Edith case... her little old house.
