I think one thing NI should be credited for with this release is killing off the Pro sub. It clearly didn’t work out and as a result we’ve all now got those additional features in v4.

I'm using Virtual Dj and I have nivida GPU that can create stems in real time, but I don't use it, I prepare my stems with anticipation, so w this feature in traktor to pre compute stems is perfect for me thanks Traktor we needed this

Nice comparison thank you! Do you know if it's possible to import our own stems (exported from a DAW) if we are producer as I am?
I mean is it possible to export stems from DAW, and copy/paste (respecting the architecture folder) directly into traktor and play the stem song?
Is it possible with NUO Stems ?

Because Stem creator is just a terribile bad quality software to create .stem.m4a file with a low sound quality (not even 320kpbs)

just measured Traktor internal audio engine with limiter and without and several Headroom : THD-N at -30dB for files at 44100/16 bits 1000 HZ test file : other DJ Software like Rekordbox or DJAY PRO or VIRTUALDJ are at THD N - 97 dB. Big audio quality problem. The best measured audio quality software is DJAY PRO 5.2 on MAC

The stems files doesn't work on Virtual DJ right? I just bought the S8 and tried it with traktor 4 and virtual but I decided to work on virtual after taking 3 days mapping all the caracters, but I saw the format on virtual dj is quite of different, of the format of Traktor 4. It's any way of your program exported the stems on a way that I could use it on virtual dj? Thanks
