Only in California will “ experts” be annoyed by the fact that we’re getting crazy amounts of rain. Burn scars or not the rain is incredibly needed

California: “We’re in a drought! We need rain!”
*rain arrives*
California: “NOOOO!”

Gotta love how the news stresses how bad the drought is in California. Then a massive amount of rainfall comes our way and they try to turn it into a bad thing by talking about how there could be floods and mudslides. Sure for some areas, but for ones that weren’t burned recently the rain is great. The news always try’s to make people worry even when there’s a positive thing happening.

They needed the rain it and you will have plenty for the summer months instead of the water going into the ocean.

People on the west coast know what a Pineapple Express is— that’s who.

Before there was an "atmospheric river" there was lots of "rain"....before there was a "bomb cyclone" there was a "low pressure system". Amazing what being on earth for 58 years learns ya.

Why does it seem that the media is so catastrophic about everything? We're too dry....We're too too hot....We're too cold. Good grief!

IF I EVER BOUGHT A HOME IN CAlifornia I Try to find at least an acre on a bit of a slope and burry some massive tanks underground on the low side of the property to collect all of the winter rain runoff and use it throughout the rest of the year as a supplemental water source. I WOULD ALSO HAVE 3 OR 4 long telescoping retractible sprinkler poles that can erect to a height of about 15'. These sprinklers would be hooked up to my private underground water supply so in the event of a wild fire I would bath my property in a light shower. Solves 2 problems at the same time. Of course these long sprinkler poles would be able to turtle back down into the ground when you're not using them.
