I'm sorry, but if you live here year-round, your life is miserable. Wells, Ogunquit, and Kennebunkport are amazing during the summertime, but the town absolutely clears out during the winter because the entire local economy runs on tourism. In fact, 90% of the workers for all of the local restaurants are foreign and come only during the summer, so virtually all of the restaurants are going to be closed. The entire town of Ogunquit is a dead zone for cell service too. Wells proper and Sanford are pits. I would not recommend living here year-round unless you are in a blue collar trade, don't mind isolation, and don't mind 9 months of bitter winter every year. Oh, and everyone is 50+ years old, unless you bring them with you from out of state.
