Karmacoma (Massive Attack COVER with nanoloop 2, OP-1 & TC Helicon Voicelive Play Acoustic)

Always loved this song, always enjoyed how hard it is in its simplicity the mesmerizing atmosphere, the lyrics, the embracing voices of Tricky and Robert Del Naja aka 3D.
I've been thinking about doing this cover for the longest time and finally I found the time and the right mindset to do it.
I opted for a minimalistic approach like always.
The Game Boy Advance SP is running nanoloop 2 and there's where almost everything happens.
The OP-1 is used for the lead sound (a custom patch made with the cluster engine) and a sort of background filler for the chorus section on the tape, a bunch of soft pads for atmosphere and the distinctive tabla sound (sampled from the original song).
I wanted my voice to be pretty distorted for this so there's a whole lot of things happening on the TCH (low octaver + delay + phone distortion + a big reverb when the little thing is pushed).
Unfortunatelly I don't have enough channel imputs on my audio interface so I had to put everything into my mixer (Yamaha MG102c) so I couldn't work on separate tracks in post.
That's pretty much it. It's been really hard to do this but I really enjoyed it and I hope you will too.
