Culling Photos And Improve Your Editing Workflow

There are many ways to cull images in Lightroom, this is just my personal preference. You can also use the colored flags in Lightroom if you prefer that over the star system. Generally I go through and star the for sure keeper shots with 2 star and ones I know that will be deleted with 1 star. If I come across any that are "mind blowing" i will 5 star that specific image.

Once images are stared for keep or delete, I will filter on the 2+ Star images and edited as needed. Once finished I'll go back and delete all the 1 star images. This way If I ever make a mistake on giving the wrong image a 1 star I still have the file.
