Bossa Nova - Wave - flute & guitar

Stephanie Alice is a contemporary flutist based in Tokyo. She is a keen composer and improviser in a wide range of styles. Stephanie Alice has performed with Celtic Illusion (touring Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong) Latin and jazz groups as well as in her original flute/guitar duo "Out of Thin Air" with John Curtis. Together they have written and performed their own original and innovative instrumental material. Stephanie set the pieces to original contemporary dance and narration in an original theatrical performance entitled "Palomina" which received funding from IgniteLab and the Victorian College of the Arts. It debuted with narration at the Melbourne Fringe festival in 2017 and with newly choreographed dance independently at the Grant Street Theatre in 2018. She has also studied classical music up to Masters level with Australia, France and England's most prominent performers and teachers.
