Please, I have a question about the medical treatment. I would like to know if the injured worker has right to choose his own doctor. Is the choice of the doctor an agreement? What can I do if I don't agree with the choice of the doctor? What is an authorized doctor? Does the doctor needs approval from the work comp commissioner before being called authorized doctor?

I have a question, my Initial injury was a partial rotator cuff tear then I found out I had two herniated disc in my neck I had surgery and now it’s my lumbar spine also, they sent me to an ime doctor for my lumbar injury and the ime doctor found in my favor, it was work related and I need the mri of my lower back. I have a lawyer who’s been fabulous. When looking on YouTube there are no videos on injuries that explain multiple body part injuries and how that works in workers comp. I’m in Rhode Island btw
