One thing I noticed is choosers are all and only hard references. So the whole chooser table is loaded into memory which for any object oriented variables is extremely cumbersome. Please let me know if you have seen a way around this, because otherwise a layered animation system with asynchronous soft loading is still far more scalable.

Whenever I try to add the lyra animations to the database, the lyra animations tells me the object doesn't have a skeleton, and when I try to pick a different skeleton for it, it just doesn't show the animation. Sometimes it even crashes. Any idea of what step I missed? Was I supposed to migrate the skeleton of the lyra character too?

Edit: I fixed it. I just included the Skeleton of the lyra characters into the migration and used it to retarget the animations, then let it handle the rest on it's own.
Seems if you want to add animations from other projects you need to xfer the skeleton as well as the animations otherwise they'll all break

Very useful video! I would love to see the sequel I think you could have included how to hold the weapon as it is confusing how to get that done, and it would be nice to see how you solved that problem!
