Every Greek noun belongs to one of the three genders: masculine, feminine and neuter. And almost all Greek nouns are declinable which means they change form for number (singular and plural) and case (nominative, genitive, accusative). Nouns of masculine gender always end in a vowel + ς in the nominative singular. In this video you will see the most common declension patterns for masculine nouns. Once you learn the examples, you can easily form any noun of masculine gender. Pay attention to the stress! Most of the nouns undergo shift of stress.
