What the hell, I am not an Indians fan at all, just a big Bauer fan but I completely started crying.

It was amazing having you here Bauer. I hope your career continues to go well. And that stunt in KC was awesome. Thank you!

This is sad. People give him crap because he throws a ball over center field but don’t understand how hard he works and how much he wants to win. Sure it may be unprofessional but he plays with heart. He was frustrated. Trevor works so hard day in and day out to take stats, and get back on the field as quickly as possible. I wish you the best of luck Trevor and you continue to fascinate me every step of the way!

One of the beautiful parts about baseball is that you watch these players night in and night out for six months of the year. You may never meet them, but they become a part of your life. I'll never forget Trevor getting down on one knee to take a pic with my 8 year old brother at Tribe Fest in 2014. Or the gutsy performance in 2015 to keep the win streak going in that 17 inning game when he finished off the game. Or the way Trevor tried to pitch through his lacerated finger and chose blue uniforms so he could hide the blood. Or watching him develop that slider and changeup. Going to miss watching Trevor pitch every five days. Best of luck in Cinci!

No thank you Trevor. We will forever hold a place in our heart for you. Leading us to the playoffs year after year. Being one of the best pitcher's that is in this beautiful game of baseball. The Land will forever miss you and will greet you back anytime.

Reds fan here. Glad to have you but at the same time my heart aches for you. Cleveland is a great place to play. I hope you'll feel the same way about your time in a Reds uniform. You are a great person and I'm a big fan of genuine guys like you. I wish you nothing but the best no matter who you play for.

I'm bawling over a player I will never meet, in a sport where trades are the norm, not the exception... and yet I still get incredibly sad every time a truly special player like Trevor is sent to another team. The city of Cleveland and its true fans will miss you DEARLY, Trevor!!! We wish you ALL the best and sincerely hope to see you in an Indians uniform again someday! 💙

Thank you, Trevor. As a brand new fan in the summer of 2016, the first game I watched was the extra-innings game in Toronto. You intrigued me from the start, and I began reading articles and books about pitching — including those about you and your journey and efforts as a pitcher. I became a season ticket holder, traveling up for games from Columbus. I followed you on social media and watched you almost-unapologetically be completely yourself — sometimes to my chagrin and sometimes to my delight. The fans always knew that you would include as many of us as possible in victory celebrations and videos that showed the team’s joy. My seat mates and I all bought your all-star jersey last summer and wore them to a game where you started. You have made baseball more interesting and more fun. The generosity of your interest in other players and their development is amazing. You will have impact wherever you go in life. Along the way, I hope your joy increases and opportunities for good abound. I wish you success and will continue to follow your career wherever you are.

Thank you Trevor for your sedulous personality, tenacity, and ferocity on the field! You are a great competitor with the heart of a champion. That was a very touching farewell and compiled with great character. I wish you the best in Cincinnati and beyond!

Ever since I saw you warm-up for the first time you've been my favorite player in baseball. Granted I don't pitch anymore, but I swear I was never able to maintain strength and stability in my shoulder like I did after I discovered you and Driveline Baseball on YouTube.

Back in my senior year, before starts, I tried to copy stuff I saw in your workout routine (i.e. weighted balls, bands, and long toss (pole to pole)) and guarantee my labrum would not have held up without it.

Thank you for all you have done - through your intensity, dedication, and love for the game. You've inspired me and given me countless memories as an Indians fan. I wish you nothing but good health, happiness, and success going forward. 🙏🏼

Thank You Trevor. I had no idea how to take you until your documentary a few years. It helped me understand your mind set and have been a fan since. Through the ups and downs I have enjoyed watching you pitch. You have single handedly changed pitching and baseball for the better.
