A small clarification/correction - k includes the intercept, because you estimate it as well.

Hello Mr. Ben, Thanks for your wonderful lecture series. I have two queries 1)The example is about a one-tail distribution (right to be specific), hence why is the Ho just Ho: Mu< 0, shouldn't it be like Ho: Mu </= 0? 2) Perhaps, the first is not much of a query but the source of my confusion is you saying the value of t_critical as 2, shouldn't it be more like 1.645? Kindly clarify.

The degrees of freedom is the number of observations minus the amount of constants (estimated parameters)?
