I'm late af, but you may want to get some risers for your monitors. The tweeters I believe should be at ear level and you and the speakers should be an equilateral triangle. But this desk is so nice.

I actually recently did the same thing - a great hack for the desk top is a "solid core door" its basically a 8'x3' slab of wood, you can cut to length. but being a streamer and with this new found love of music creation i opted to keep the space. - using flange's for feet.. great idea!

Man, this is nuts. I just designed my own desk and it's basically identical to this, except like twice as big. Do you have any coverage of the build process? I've never done woodworking so I'm scared af to screw it up.
