Mixvibes Cross DJ Review

If you want to use timecode vinyl you need to get Mixvibes Cross. Cross DJ is designed specifically for Djs using keyboard/mouse and midi controllers.

You should be able to use any ASIO/CoreAudio compatible soundcard to output the decks. I think you need to use Mixvibes hardware to use tiemcode control. I could be wrong though. Check the Mixvibes site for the technical details.

I'd assume that it is. It can work with MIDI compatible controllers. In Cross DJ 2 you have some options over the layout. Check out our video on the 2.4 update to see how the new 4 deck mode works.

@nolifeATALL23 If you want to use timecode CDs/Vinyl you will need the slightly more expensive Cross software from Mixvibes. CrossDJ is the less expensive version that does not work with timecoded media.

At this time in US dollars: Cross is $99. Cross DJ is $35. They also sell packages with the software and hardware. Those are the prices listed on their site. You may be able to find a better deal at a local shop.

There is a free version of the software called Cross DJ Free. That version doesnt have all the features of the paid version.

Yeah i know, but he was saying that he didnt know if he has the paid version or free version and it made it look like he didnt know if he paid for it or not. But he couldve downloaded it from a torrent or something and didnt know which version he had.

Im not a beginner dj and i use cross dj 2.0 its really like traktor pro, but just a littoe simpler

hello...so i have an extremal sound card

I'm using MacBook pro

I can select it as my main output for CrossDJ 2.6.0 and it works, but I can not select it as my output #2(does not come down in my drop down list).

So it seems that CrossDJ recognizes the SC but there is no option for my output 2 so i can use it has just my cue
