New details in search for suspect attacking homeless people

A manhunt is underway for a suspect in a string of attacks on homeless people in both New York City and Washington, D.C. So far, at least two people are dead and three others have been injured. CBS2's Elijah Westbrook reports.

That man by chipotle was a nice person, never harm no one, he would sit in front of target, reading a book, lots of people in the neighborhood knew him.

I hope they don’t catch him, the system has failed and these homeless people are getting out of control if no one’s is gonna do something now not later not in a few years then things will get worse.

When law enforcement and DAs don't do their job, some take care of it on their own. As another poster pondered, maybe a homeless person hurt him and/or his family and the authorities did nothing. There have been past incidents of homeless being murdered. With cameras everywhere, very difficult crime to get away with. Suspect probably was fed up and had nothing to lose.

You have to protect your self in NYC you have to help protect others you have to have and eye for and eye the city is very violent on all levels now the homeless is targeted because the perp figures no one will care

It’s starts with the same people speaking! The employees are awful and sad people would rather sleep on the streets because of it.
