Hi, I’m Kirby Allison, and welcome to our March YouTube Channel trailer! We have an exciting month ahead with great content and products from The Hanger Project.

COMING THIS MONTH
We have exciting new content coming this month that you won’t want to miss. We continue our Shoe Review Series this month with a video on Spanish shoemaker Carmina’s popular Black Captoe Oxfords on their Forest EEE Last. For those who really love shoes, Carmina makes an absolutely incredible product at a fantastic price. We have five other pairs of Carmina shoes in our office that we look forward to reviewing for you! As always, if you have any requests, please let us know!
Our next installment in our Shoe Shine Sunday Series will be airing with Graham Thompson of Optimo Hats. We talk about the history of hat making, Optimo’s unique story and what people should consider when getting their first quality hat. We also visit with Daniel Wegan of Gaziano & Girling to try on the final fitting of the bespoke black cap toe oxfords he is making for me.

Hey Kirby, I’m a retail manager that walks miles and miles on concrete everyday. Have any suggestions for quality/stylish shoes that have the comfort for this kind of wear?
Great channel! I’ve learned a lot from you!

Hello Kirby, are the Carmina shoes better quality than Allen Edmonds? I have checked the shoes out some what and was just curious what your opinion would be on them?

Would you happen to have any experience with the brand, Cobbler union?

Kirby, on most of your videos where you display shoes, they are usually on a piece of leather. What is that for and where could not get it?

I enjoy your channel very much. I have a content request/suggestion. I’m interested in the history of fine American shoe making- brands well-known today like Alden and Allen Edmunds (obviously well represented already), and well as finer brands that may no longer be around, or that started as better brands but are now more mass-market (e.g. Florsheim). I realize you are focused on upscale and bespoke brands, lean toward European product, and are interested in looking (fashion) forward, not back. For all these reasons I’m guessing you won’t love my suggestion. Still, you seem well-positioned to deliver a brief survey of US shoe making history which might yield some interesting stories, and perhaps find some interesting vintage shoes to show off. I don’t think I’m the only viewer who would enjoy this. Regards.

I appreciate the quality of your videos, but PLEASE no more AE related reviews. There are a lot of much better shoes out there at different price points that are worth reviewing such as Enzo Bonafe, Paolo Scafora, EG, G&G, JL, Stefano Bemer, ... etc.
