Thanks for the review. I didn't expect so much difference. Black for me based on your footage: the colours are more saturated, the detail seems better, and the sound is clearer to my ears.

Thanks for the fantastic video. I bought the black, and I was about to exchange it with silver. but after I saw your video with a thorough comparison, I am going to keep the black since it has better stabilization, better background noise cancellation, and higher resolution.

I picked up an open box Hero 7 silver on a whim from Bestbuy two days ago and some of the complaints you had about it were the same I have with it already.
I also don’t like the more pronounced “fish eye” effect on the silver.
Definitely running by and switching it out for the 7 Black tomorrow!

Thankyou for taking the time to actually review the camera's by using them, so many so called review's are the person sitting at home talking about it with no footage whatsoever.

Not much of a difference honestly. And the black has slightly more vivid colors, but nothing to pay twice the value for. You can use a polarized film for the silver, get an external mic, and video editing software for the price difference and still get a better outcome with the silver.
