GoPro HERO 7 Black vs HERO 6! (4K)

Today we pit the new GoPro HERO 7 Black versus last years HERO 6 Black! I have the GoPro Hero 6 and I use it for my travel videos specially with that stabilization at 4K30. I love Hyperlapses and Timelapses and due to this awesome feature on the Hero 7 I will upgrade it very soon!! Thank you Ben for this great comparison!!!

The video comparison @ 1:46 is completely misleading...and that's a fact...as I've used both in some crazy situations ..the 7's stability increase is negligible, but only when the 6 is still running the original 1.6 version software when it launched. The so-called upgrade of the 6 to the 2.01 version defected the stability in an effort to push the sales of the new 7... That's how it works with companies unfortunately

Nice review. I just sold my hero 6 and got the hero 7 black. I’ve had a lot of freezing issues as well, and I haven’t used it much, but I do like the stabilization and Hyperlapse mode. That’s why I upgraded, so I think it’s worth it

Great review. I just purchased a 7 Black and was blown away by how well the EIS worked. Had it mounted to a Side by Side while traversing some quite rough terrain and the video was rock stable. If it wasn't for the fact I wanted to have GPS data during this run, I'd have recorded it with my old Hero 2. SO glad I didn't do that, it would have been straining on the eyes.
